After serving as chief executive of the American Frozen Food Institute for nine years, Leslie Sarasin taking the helm at the $27 million Food Marketing Institute. Sarasin is taking over for Timothy Hammonds, who retired after serving FMI for three decades.

In March 2009, Peter O'Neil is being promoted to executive director of the $15.7 million American Industrial Hygiene Association. O’Neil is replacing Steven H. Davis, who served AIHA for 11 years, six as executive director.

Nancy Brown is taking over at the American Heart Association on January 1, 2009, succeeding long-time CEO M. Cass Wheeler. Brown has served AHA as COO for seven years.
